The Infirmary is the largest non-governmental, not-for-profit hospital in Alabama and offers a complete range of medical services, including surgery and rehabilitation. Springhill Medical Center has 252 beds and offers emergency medicine, a diagnostic center, a women’s center and family-centered labor and delivery. It is the only private hospital in Mobile. University of South Alabama (USA) Health System
The College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama (USA) serves the central Gulf Coast and the southern half of the state, and is the region’s largest healthcare system.
