We’re looking for an experienced Director of Government Affairs to lead our advocacy efforts and leverage relationships with business leaders, elected officials and community partners. If you’re a strategic thinker, skilled communicator and passionate about public policy, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our region.

At the Mobile Chamber, advocacy is how we turn the priorities of the business community into action. It’s the difference between businesses facing challenges alone and businesses having a seat at the table where decisions are made.

As Director of Government Affairs, you’ll build and leverage relationships with elected officials at the local, state and federal levels to advance the issues that matter most to Mobile’s business community. You’ll coordinate the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, working directly with members to identify emerging issues, and represent the Chamber’s interests in Montgomery during the legislative session. This is a role for someone who wants their work to directly shape the business climate of an entire region.
