Small Business of the Year
The 2025 Mobile Chamber Small Business of the Year applications are being accepted. Each monthly finalist will receive a $500 award and may be named the Chamber’s 2025 winner and receive $10,000! There are eleven chances to win so the earlier you apply, the better your odds!

Criteria:
- In business at least four years and a Mobile Chamber member for three years
- Have 100 or fewer employees
- Solid financial base
- Evidence of good business practices
- Community service contribution
- Be a privately-owned, for-profit entity
- Headquartered in Mobile, Baldwin or Washington Counties
Previous finalists may reapply after one year, and current Board members are not eligible.
Small Business of the Year Winner will receive:
- A $10,000 cash award
- All benefits the finalists receive
- Featured in a “Mobile Chamber Insider” article placed in Mobile Bay Magazine
- Featured as Small Business of the Year on billboards around Mobile
- Invited as a guest of the Mobile Chamber’s “Mobile Matters Podcast”
Small Business of the Year Finalists will receive:
- A $500 cash award, and the finalist plaque
- Automatically qualified as a candidate for Small Business of the Year
- Featured article in TheBusinessView.com
- Highlighted in the Business View Weekly email newsletter, the Chamber’s social media channels and on the Small Business website
- Recognized in the Annual Report
- Featured as a Small Business of the Year Finalist on billboards around Mobile
- Recognized at the Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon
