The eagle symbolizes strength, vision and the ability to rise above—qualities that have defined generations of minority entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses, created opportunities and strengthened our community.
For nearly three decades, the Mobile Chamber Eagle Awards have honored that spirit by recognizing more than 130 outstanding minority-owned businesses for their achievements, perseverance, growth and contributions to our economy.

Is Your Business Ready to Soar?
If your company has built a strong track record, continues to grow and evolve, and is making an impact in the community, we want to know your story.
Is Your Business Eligible?
- Be a minority-owned business, with at least 51% ownership, operation and control by African American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Asian American individuals.
- Must be a Chamber member upon selection.
- Have been in business for at least three years.
- Have 100 or fewer employees.
- Be a privately owned, for-profit business.
- Be headquartered in Mobile, Baldwin or Washington County.
- Eagle Award winners may reapply after one year.
Recognition Includes:
- Eagle Award recipients are honored at the annual Eagle Awards Luncheon & Ceremony.
- Featured in the Business View Weekly newsletter, TheBusinessView.com, Chamber social media and digital displays.
- Featured placement on the Mobile Chamber Eagle Awards webpage banner.
- Opportunity to build on that recognition by applying for the Small Business of the Year, if eligible.
