SHOP LOCAL – THE IVY COTTAGE

THE IVY COTTAGE

Legacy Village, 9 Du Rhu Dr. #360, Mobile

ivycottageonline.com

Store hours: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Ivy Cottage, located in Legacy Village in Mobile, specializes in dinnerware and entertaining products, while its sister store – Ivy Cottage Retreat – offers bed and bath linens. The store offers a wedding registry for in-store and online shopping. Items include candles, bath soaps and personal care products, travel bags and baby gifts.

Most items are available on the website, and the store offers delivery in the immediate area and shipping options.

Due to the pandemic, the owners separated merchandise into two stores for social distancing. “Creating a second store for the linens and sleepwear has been a great change for us,” said Terry Gray, owner. “In fact, this fall we will move Retreat to a larger space in Legacy Village just three doors from our main store.”

Gray encourages everyone to shop early for the holidays to get the items they want. “Lots of customers collect dinnerware or special stemware that their family and friends can give them for holidays and birthdays. This year, I would encourage anyone planning to buy something special to make sure we have it now. If we need to order it, we need to do so ASAP.”
