Minority Business Development Program

The Minority Business Development (MBD) Program is a 9-week curriculum designed for entrepreneurs in the ideation phase and companies under a year old where founders have little to no business experience. Participants learn from subject matter experts on topics such as customer discovery, market research, legal, financial and business planning. Only 6-8 entrepreneurs will be accepted to participate.

MBD will meet weekly from Tuesday, August 20 – October 15, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Melton Center on the University of South Alabama’s campus. You must complete this application before July 8, 2024 to be considered as a candidate.
