Bill SissonIt is age-old knowledge that member engagement is essential for the growth of any membership organization. This is certainly the case for chambers of commerce. Engaged members keep renewing, and they can increase membership by word of mouth. The more excited they are, the more likely they are to stay a member – and that excitement can be contagious.

 

Your Chamber has an exciting new strategic plan that was built for you, by you. One of the most important metrics in the new plan is engagement. We want to do an even better job – and this means staying in touch with our members, posting more often on social media, creating meaningful content and inviting your participation in everything we’re doing as an organization.

 

You will notice that as our three-year strategic plan is put into action, there will be more and more ways for you to plug into Chamber programs and activities. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there are other ways you’d like to contribute. I’m grateful for each and every one of you, and look forward to working together in the years to come.
