On Tuesday, Aug. 5, the Mobile Area Chamber presents Preparing for Business Growth, Part 3. This session deals with Closing the Deal and is led by Tom Quinn, Construction Estimating Institute (CEI). Business Headlines

 

Visit Mobile announced the Carnival Sensation will cruise from the Port of Mobile in October. Last summer the City of Mobile and Visit Mobile broke the news that Carnival Cruise Lines would move the Sensation from Miami to Mobile and take up itineraries previously assigned to the Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Fascination.  Guests and travel advisors are encouraged to review Carnival’s Have Fun. Be Safe.

Veterans Recovery Resources was recently awarded a $4 million federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration grant. The organization will use the funds to ensure access to crisis care, care coordination with other local healthcare providers, law enforcement and schools as well as comprehensive community recovery support services.
