Today, the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce’s economic development team launched a new branding effort aimed at touting the region’s assets in several industry clusters – aerospace, chemicals & manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, maritime, oil & gas exploration and technology. Funding for this project was made possible by the Chamber’s Partners for Growth investors.
The new campaign was designed by Lewis Communications, and centers around the tagline “The Perfect Business Climate. Made in Mobile.” Collateral for this project includes a redesigned economic development section of the Chamber’s website – http://mobilechamber.com/economic-development/doing-business-in-mobile/industry-clusters/ – and presentation materials (Powerpoint, folder, infographics and industry-specific sheets).
“We have a great story to tell to both industry looking to locate here in Mobile, and to existing industry,” said Troy Wayman, vice president of economic development for the Mobile Area Chamber. “Through this new branding effort, we’re better able to communicate Mobile’s economic assets to companies looking to invest here.”
Potential aerospace suppliers to Mobile will have the first look at the new materials when several Team Mobile members travel to London in July to participate in the Farnborough Air Show. From there, local business and industry will have access to all marketing materials in the September issue of The Business View. Additionally, materials will be available for upload on the Chamber’s website.
