Team Mobile is making its final preparations in advance of the Farnborough Air Show. Held about 40 miles outside of London, this event is one of the world’s largest, and a “don’t miss” for the Mobile region’s economic developers. The trade show will take place July 14-16.
Mobile will have a strong presence at the show, and showcase its tremendous infrastructure assets as part of the State of Alabama’s exhibit. But while we’re there, we’ll have one-on-one meetings with potential Airbus suppliers, suppliers of some of Mobile’s existing aerospace workforce, and industry executives.
The Mobile delegation will come together on Tuesday, July 15 to host more than 175 invited guests to a reception at the famed Spencer House. Event hosts include: Alabama Power, Alabama State Port Authority, Baldwin County Commission, Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance, City of Mobile, Mobile Airport Authority, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, Mobile County and PowerSouth Energy Cooperative.
